Overview

A class action lawsuit has been filed against enCore Energy Corp. (“enCore” or the “Company”) and certain of the Company’s former senior executive officers alleging violations of the federal securities laws.  The Company’s common shares trade on the NASDAQ exchange under the symbol “EU.”

The enCore class action lawsuit was brought on behalf of all persons and entities who purchased or otherwise acquired enCore securities between March 28, 2024, and March 2, 2025, both dates inclusive (the “Class Period”).

enCore engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of uranium resource properties in the United States.

The enCore class action lawsuit alleges that Defendants, throughout the Class Period, made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material adverse facts about the Company’s business, operations, and prospects.  Specifically, Defendants failed to disclose to investors that: (1) enCore lacked effective internal controls over financial reporting; (2) enCore could not capitalize certain exploratory and development costs under generally accepted accounting principles; (3) as a result, its net losses had substantially increased; and (4) as a result of the foregoing, Defendants’ positive statements about the Company’s business, operations, and prospects were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis.
