Overview

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Symbotic, Inc. (“Symbotic” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: SYM) and certain of the Company’s former senior executive officers alleging violations of the federal securities laws.  The Symbotic class action lawsuit is brought on behalf of all persons and entities who purchased or otherwise acquired publicly traded Symbotic securities between February 8, 2024, and November 26, 2024, both dates inclusive (the “Class Period”).  Investors have until February 3, 2025, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in the Symbotic class action lawsuit.

Symbotic is an automation technology company which engages in the production of a robotics and automation-based product movement technology platform.

The Symbotic class action lawsuit alleges that Defendants, throughout the Class Period, provided materially false and/or misleading statements and failed to disclose material adverse facts about the Company’s business, operations, and prospects to make the statements made, in light of the circumstances under which they were made, not false and misleading.  Specifically, Defendants failed to disclose that: (1) Symbotic improperly accelerated revenue recognition in its 2024 financial statements; and (2) as a result, Defendants’ statements about Symbotic’s business, operations, and prospects were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times.  When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.
