DiCello Levitt Attorney Continues Leadership in the Chicago Legal Community
DiCello Levitt is pleased to announce that attorney Joseph “J.J.” Nelson has been named Recruitment Officer of the Chicago Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section (YLS).
As Recruitment Officer, J.J. will help advance efforts to connect with young attorneys and strengthen participation in the Section’s professional and community-focused initiatives. The appointment marks a continuation of J.J.’s leadership within the Chicago Bar Association, following his service as Inclusion and Engagement Officer for the 2025–2026 term and his previous role on the organization’s Nominating Committee.
The Young Lawyers Section serves attorneys during their first 10 years of practice, providing opportunities for professional development, leadership, community engagement, and connection within Chicago’s legal community. Its Executive Council comprises approximately 100 volunteer attorneys who help shape the Section’s priorities and oversee its programming.
