Overview

As Director of Human Resources at DiCello Levitt, Heather Heid is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing strategy development for the firm’s human resources function, including policy formulation, employee relations, talent development, performance management, legal and professional staff recruiting, and compensation and benefits administration.

With nearly two decades of experience in human resources, Heather brings a strategic and thoughtful approach to fostering environments where professionals can thrive. She has worked across industries, including law, finance, nonprofit, and global consulting, supporting dynamic organizations through periods of change and innovation. Prior to joining DiCello Levitt, she held HR leadership roles at prominent organizations such as the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Willis Towers Watson (WTW), and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois, where she specialized in creating and scaling employee-first programs and was repeatedly appointed to lead startup initiatives like building human resources, talent management, and leadership development departments to support the evolving needs of the growing business and workforce.

Heather earned a graduate certificate in educating adults from DePaul University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies and a bachelor’s in human resource management from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a certified administrator and facilitator for a variety of psychometric instruments, including leadership, 360, and hiring assessments from the Center for Creative Leadership and Saville Assessments, essential tools for the firm’s priority to attract, develop, and retain top talent across all roles.
