DiCello Levitt is pleased to announce that Partner Justin J. Hawal has been named to Benchmark Litigation’s 2025 USA 40 & Under list. This annual guide features “top emerging talent in litigation,” showcasing the most accomplished and innovative litigators under the age of 40 in the United States.
Based in our firm’s Cleveland office, Justin represents individuals and communities in high-stakes litigation, spanning product liability, data privacy, civil and human rights, and personal injury matters. His work has contributed to landmark results, including in Black v. Hicks—a civil rights case involving egregious police misconduct that resulted in a $50 million jury award and earned him national recognition as one of Public Justice’s Trial Lawyers of the Year in 2021—as well as the historic Equifax data breach settlement. Justin is also a key member of the DiCello Levitt team that filed the largest single international sex trafficking lawsuit in U.S. history, brought against former fashion mogul Peter Nygard and his companies.
