CHICAGO — DiCello Levitt LLC and co-counsel, Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, held a press conference via Zoom on Tuesday, July 28, at 2 p.m. CDT, to provide details on the new class action lawsuit that they filed, on July 27, in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chancery Division. The filing alleges that ComEd violated the Illinois Consumer Fraud Act and unjustly enriched itself by overcharging its 4 million customers in Illinois for years. The recent $200M ComEd agreement to pay the government following a federal bribery investigation does nothing to compensate the individuals and businesses who actually overpaid.
