One of only ten women recognized in Illinois and one of only twenty women recognized across the entire Midwest region among Benchmark Litigation’s “Top 250 Women in Litigation”
CHICAGO — DiCello Levitt partner Amy E. Keller has been named to Benchmark Litigation’s 2021 listing of the nation’s leading female litigators. Amy is one of only ten women Benchmark has recognized in Illinois, and one of only twenty women recognized across the entire Midwest region, in its entire guide, currently in its tenth edition.
The 2021 “Top 250 Women in Litigation” publication’s extensive research process involves months of investigation into litigators’ professional activities, as well as client feedback surveys and one-on-one interviews, Benchmark Litigation said. “These women have earned their place amongst the leading female litigators by participating in some of the most impactful litigation matters in recent history, as well as by earning the hard-won respect of their peers and clients.”
Amy Keller—who chairs DiCello Levitt’s Technology, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Practice—has been appointed lead or co-lead counsel in multidistrict (“MDL”) litigations seven times in the past four years, including the multidistrict litigations against Equifax, Marriott, Blackbaud, and others.
The firm’s Technology, Privacy, and Cybersecurity practice encompasses cases and investigations concerning privacy, data security, artificial intelligence, and sophisticated, complex litigation involving the intersection of law and other technologies. Federal courts across the United States have appointed Amy to lead lawsuits on behalf of hundreds of millions of consumers against industry giants like Marriott, Equifax, Coca-Cola, Apple, Electrolux, and BMW, and, in the past two years alone, she has negotiated more than $2 billion in settlement relief for the firm’s clients and other class members.
