DiCello Levitt has once again been recognized by Legal 500 for our excellence across multiple practice areas, reaffirming the firm’s position as a leader in complex litigation and trial advocacy. The 2025 edition of The Legal 500 United States highlights the firm’s continued strength in representing plaintiffs in high-impact antitrust, securities, product liability, mass tort, and class action litigation.
In addition to ranking DiCello Levitt’s practices in the Product Liability, Mass Tort and Class Action—Plaintiff category, Legal 500 recognized the firm in the categories of Antitrust: Civil Litigation/Class Actions: Plaintiff and Securities Litigation: Plaintiff.
Commending our nationally recognized Antitrust and Competition Litigation Practice Group, the Legal 500’s editors cited the firm’s “comprehensive counsel on federal and state antitrust class actions” in matters ranging “[f]rom price-fixing and market allocation conspiracies to market monopolization.” They went on to write, “Reflecting its expertise, the firm is frequently sought after to represent government entities, including in ongoing broiler chicken and pork conspiracy lawsuits.”
Legal 500 also specifically highlighted the distinguished litigation record of Greg Asciolla, chair of DiCello Levitt’s Antitrust and Competition Litigation Practice Group and managing partner of the firm’s New York office, as well as partners Geralyn Trujillo and Alex Barnett.
“The ‘smart and tenacious’ Gregory Asciolla leads the practice and is regularly appointed to leadership positions in major antitrust cases,” they wrote. “Geralyn Trujillo’s prior experience at the FTC enables her to bring key strategic insight to antitrust litigation. Alexander Barnett provides critical advocacy for consumers, public entities, and businesses affected by antitrust violations and unfair competition.”
DiCello Levitt’s Securities and Financial Products Litigation Practice Group was also recognized for its strong performance in the market and its distinct capabilities in international matters. According to Legal 500, the team has developed a particular niche representing foreign institutional investors in U.S.-based securities class actions as well as investors pursuing remedies in foreign jurisdictions.
The guide highlighted the leadership of Patrick Daniels and Roxana Pierce, who co-chair the group from the firm’s San Diego office, and noted the contributions of Brian O’Mara, a key partner with extensive experience handling securities, antitrust, and consumer protection litigation in state and federal courts nationwide.
