Chicago Managing Partner Amy Keller, chair of DiCello Levitt’s Privacy, Technology, and Cybersecurity Practice Group, has been named to Benchmark Litigation’s 2024 list of the “Top 250 Women in Litigation.” This inclusion marks Amy’s fourth recognition by Benchmark Litigation, including two consecutive years as an Illinois Litigation Star for Commercial and Plaintiff Class Action litigation.

Amy is celebrated for her leadership in landmark cases and significant contributions to advancing data security law. She made history as the youngest woman to be appointed co-lead class counsel in a nationwide data breach multidistrict case, created new standards for data breach settlements, and has achieved significant appellate legal victories on behalf of hundreds of millions of Americans. Her collaboration with federal and state regulators has been instrumental in effecting essential changes to data protection practices.

In the past eight years, Amy has been appointed lead or co-lead counsel in more multidistrict litigations (MDLs) than any other woman in her field, successfully challenging fortune-100 industry giants such as Equifax, Apple, and Marriott. Her efforts consistently demonstrate her dedication to increasing consumer access to civil justice and raising legal standards.

Benchmark Litigation’s rigorous selection process involves a detailed assessment of individual litigators’ professional activities, including client feedback surveys and one-on-one interviews. The result is a carefully curated list of distinguished women in litigation who have shaped some of the most significant cases in recent history while earning the deep respect of both their peers and clients.
