Groopman Brings Extensive Antitrust, Healthcare Experience to Firm
NEW YORK – December 11, 2025 – Steven Groopman has joined DiCello Levitt’s nationally recognized Antitrust and Competition Litigation Practice Group as a partner. Groopman is recognized for his creative and compelling advocacy in complex antitrust and consumer matters, with particular expertise in the healthcare industry.

In the past year alone, DiCello Levitt’s antitrust attorneys have been appointed to critical leadership roles in several major nationwide antitrust class actions. The preeminent team is expanding and now features more than 15 attorneys, including former government officials and institutional leaders.

Groopman has led groundbreaking antitrust cases, including litigation against pharmaceutical companies for delaying generic competition and undermining biosimilar competition, and residential real estate brokerages for collusion. He also has helped lead cases addressing unlawful debt collection and consumer protection violations under RICO, TILA, and state law. He began his legal career clerking for the Hon. Dickinson R. Debevoise on the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and has held roles in both litigation and white-collar defense.
Groopman earned his J.D. from George Washington University Law School and his A.B., magna cum laude, in Political Science from Brown University.
