CHICAGO — DiCello Levitt Gutzler is pleased to announce the promotion of Daniel Ferri to Partner.  A respected commercial litigator, Dan represents clients in a wide array of matters, prosecuting contract, patent, trade secret, copyright, and antitrust disputes in federal and state courts across the United States. He currently serves in multiple capacities as appointed counsel for the State of New Mexico, enforcing the State’s Unfair Practices Act, as well as representing a wide variety of plaintiffs in multistate class actions involving consumer fraud, breach of warranty, and violations of ERISA and RICO.

Experienced in technology and science issues, Dan has represented plaintiffs asserting class claims against automobile manufacturers, including litigation against Volkswagen arising from the carmaker’s “defeat devices” to evade federal and statewide emissions standards. He has also represented inventors and companies in intellectual property disputes around the country, acknowledging the importance of a trade secrets to growth and the advancement of a business’ interests.
