CHICAGO – DiCello Levitt Gutzler announces the establishment of its charitable foundation, “DLG Cares,” that aligns with the firm’s values, mission, and outlook. DLG Cares will identify and financially support nonprofits dedicated to access to justice.
DiCello Levitt has led numerous nationwide class action, commercial litigation, product liability, public client, and civil rights cases, resulting in groundbreaking results with one overarching belief – that law is a means of using the civil justice system to protect and help people and companies, whether through trial, pretrial resolution, or otherwise.
On the creation of the foundation, co-founding partner Mark A. DiCello commented, “To use the justice system to accomplish a righteous outcome and change lives—it’s why we do what we do. We’re trying to do the right thing for as many people as possible.”

DLG Cares will work to lead by example, providing access to justice—one person at a time. Levitt continued: “To quote Harry Chapin— the singer and social activist, who died far too young, ‘In a time when there are gigantic questions, engagement is the answer’. We hope that DLG Cares will enable us to better engage with causes in which we believe and to use part of our economic success to improve the lives of others.”
