National Plaintiffs’ Law Firm Recognized for High-Stakes Litigation, Trial Results, and Leadership From Its Chicago Headquarters
CHICAGO — DiCello Levitt LLP has been named a 2026 Illinois Regional Powerhouse by Law360, recognizing the firm’s litigation achievements in Illinois and the national impact of work led from its Chicago headquarters.
Law360 selected DiCello Levitt as one of six firms for its 2026 Illinois Regional Powerhouse list, alongside Clifford Law Offices, Jones Day, Mayer Brown, Simmons Hanly Conroy, and Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
Chicago has served as DiCello Levitt’s headquarters and strategic center since the firm was founded in 2017. From Chicago, the firm leads high-stakes class actions, multidistrict litigation, public entity litigation, mass torts, antitrust cases, environmental litigation, privacy and cybersecurity matters, and other complex disputes nationwide.

The recognition follows a year of significant results for DiCello Levitt in Illinois. Among the matters highlighted include $100 million in combined settlements arising from the Chemtool chemical plant fire in Rockton, Illinois, and $49.7 million in settlements in the Surescripts antitrust litigation pending in the Northern District of Illinois. The firm also continues to hold leadership roles in major Illinois multidistrict litigations involving hair relaxer products, preterm infant nutrition products, and paraquat.

Chicago-based attorneys helped secure a $175 million post-verdict settlement in litigation involving defective GM Vortec engines following a $102.6 million jury verdict. In Kashef v. BNP Paribas, the firm served as Lead Trial Counsel and secured a $20.75 million class action bellwether jury verdict after a five-week trial involving claims that the bank helped enable genocide in Sudan. The firm is presently concluding a three-week trial on behalf of the State of New Mexico against Meta, arising from the Cambridge Analytica scandal and the company’s alleged civic integrity failings.
That emphasis on early, rigorous trial preparation is also reflected in the DiCello Levitt Trial Center, with facilities in Chicago and Cleveland. The Trial Center uses focus groups, mock exercises, and interdisciplinary research to test and refine case strategy long before trial. During the period highlighted in the firm’s submission, it conducted more than 70 focus groups involving nearly 1,000 participants.
Chicago is also a key center for DiCello Levitt’s nationally recognized Privacy, Technology, and Cybersecurity Litigation Practice Group, chaired by Chicago Managing Partner Amy Keller, CIPP/US. In the past year alone, Keller helped secure a $42.5 million settlement affecting approximately 4.8 million consumers in the TMX Finance data breach litigation and continued to hold leadership roles in major litigation involving Snowflake and the collection and monetization of vehicle-driving data.
