Jun 18, 2024

DiCello Levitt has been recommended in three practice areas in the 2024 edition of The Legal 500 United States, reaffirming our position as an elite complex issues and trial firm. The guide also highlighted three of the firm’s attorneys and commended several other key attorneys for their exceptional work on behalf of plaintiffs in antitrust, securities, product liability, mass tort, and class action litigation.

The Legal 500 United States is an annual guide providing detailed analysis, rankings, and editorial of the U.S. legal market based on in-depth research and peer and client feedback. Highlighted firms are among the “small number of firms in the U.S. [that] have a truly national presence coupled with the capability to handle sophisticated and complex work,” according to the guide’s editor, Barnaby Merrill.

The Legal 500 recognized DiCello Levitt among the nation’s top firms in the following practice areas:

Antitrust: Civil Litigation/Class Actions: Plaintiff

Clients and peers described DiCello Levitt as having a “sophisticated antitrust practice with well-rounded practitioners” who are “formidable adversaries that have gained an immense amount of respect from peers on all sides.” The Legal 500 lauded our antitrust team for its notable capability in investigations, “leading to a number of precedent-setting cases.”

Greg Asciolla, chair of DiCello Levitt’s Antitrust and Competition Litigation Practice Group and Managing Partner of the firm’s New York office, was recognized as a Leading Lawyer in this practice area and was described as “an attorney who has received many plaudits for his stellar litigation and management of high-profile cases.” Senior Counsel Jonathan Crevier, named a Rising Star, was noted for being “regularly tasked with challenging financial manipulation, reverse-payment patent settlements, and general anti-competitive practices.”

Securities Litigation: Plaintiff

The Legal 500 researchers wrote that DiCello Levitt “made a big play in the securities litigation space” by adding a large group of preeminent securities litigators in 2023 as part of the firm’s aggressive growth initiative.

Clients noted that our Securities and Financial Products Litigation Practice Group boasts “outstanding technical skills and the capacity to listen to clients and to take their concerns on board,” with one specifically commending Patrick Daniels, chair of the Securities and Financial Products Litigation Practice Group, for his “thorough market knowledge and capacity for confidence building” as well as Partner Roxana Pierce for her “outstanding skills in proactive communication.”

The Legal 500 also highlighted Founding Partner Adam Levitt for his “extensive experience” in securities litigation on behalf of plaintiffs, as well as partners Henry Rosen, Brian O’Mara, and Greg Gutzler as key attorneys in this practice area.

Product Liability, Mass Tort and Class Action – Plaintiff

In addition to ranking DiCello Levitt for its outstanding track record in a wide-ranging variety of product liability, mass tort, and class action litigations, The Legal 500 named Amy Keller as a Next Generation Partner in this practice area. As the chair of DiCello Levitt’s Privacy, Technology, and Cybersecurity Practice Group and Managing Partner of the firm’s Chicago office, Amy stands out as a leading advocate for hundreds of thousands of consumers harmed by data privacy violations and other corporate misconduct.
