DiCello Levitt Names New Leaders in Chicago, Cleveland, and New York

Firm appoints Office Managing Partners in Chicago, Cleveland, and New York

CHICAGO, JANUARY 25, 2023 – DiCello Levitt announced today that Partners Amy Keller, Ken Abbarno, and Greg Asciolla have been named Managing Partners of the firm’s Chicago, Cleveland, and New York offices, respectively.

“Our firm has been on a trajectory of expansive growth since our April 2017 founding. Amy, Ken, and Greg have provided extensive contributions through their practice group management, client representations, and bar and community leadership.  As we continue to grow, we know that they will embody our fundamental values in their expanded roles,” stated Firm Co-Founders Mark DiCello and Adam Levitt.

As Office Managing Partners, Amy, Ken, and Greg will help lead the firm’s talented teams in their respective markets. They will focus on recruiting talented and diverse professionals, training, mentorship, community, and client-related activities.

Partner Diandra “Fu” Debrosse Zimmermann will remain Managing Partner of the Firm’s Birmingham office.

Amy Keller

Amy Keller has led a variety of class actions across the United States, where she has successfully litigated high-profile, complex data security, and consumer privacy cases. As the firm’s Privacy, Technology, and Cybersecurity practice chair, she became the youngest woman ever appointed to serve as co-lead class counsel in a nationwide, multidistrict litigation at 34, securing $1.5 billion in relief for American consumers.  Thereafter, Amy was appointed to several other leadership positions in multidistrict litigations, while promoting the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion to ensure that women, people of color, and younger attorneys are not passed over for such opportunities.  Amy currently serves as co-lead counsel alongside colleagues from a number of other firms in another nationwide privacy case, recognized as “the most diverse leadership team ever” appointed in the federal court system.

Amy has represented consumers against industry titans like Equifax, Coca-Cola, Apple, Marriott, Electrolux, and BMW, securing victories against each. The firm has been named Law360’s Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice Group of the Year for the third straight year (2020, 2021, and 2022) with Amy as Practice Group Leader.

Amy is recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business as a 40 under 40 for the class of 2022, is an elected member of the American Law Institute, and serves on the boards of the Public Justice Foundation and the American Association for Justice, where she works to advance consumer access to the courts. She is also a Steering Committee member of the Sedona Conference’s Working Group 11, which focuses on advancing the law on issues surrounding technology, privacy, artificial intelligence, and data security, and has served on several drafting teams for the organization. 

Ken Abbarno

A former defense lawyer, Ken Abbarno joined DiCello Levitt, understanding that he would have unique and unrivaled access to resources not available at any of the traditional personal injury firms. During his time at the firm, Ken has set himself apart as a leader who coordinates complex medical malpractice, birth injury, truck crash, civil rights, and toxic exposure cases, all while mentoring young lawyers advancing in the trial bar and serving as the firm’s General Counsel.

Over the past three decades, Ken has been recognized as a top-tier trial attorney handling cases in multiple jurisdictions across the United States. Throughout his career, Ken has been recognized by the numerous industry organizations and his peers as an elite trial lawyer.

Ken is a sought-after voice in the litigation space, and has published articles in several publications and has presented at conferences across the United States about the intricacies of trial practice. He was recently named to Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers,” and has also been recognized as a “Plaintiffs’ Lawyers Trailblazer” by The National Law Journal.Ken has also been selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer every year since 2010 and he is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America®, for Transportation Law.

Greg Asciolla

Greg Asciolla chairs DiCello Levitt’s Antitrust & Competition Litigation Group and co-chairs the Firm’s DEI Committee.  With almost three decades of antitrust litigation experience, Greg is a highly-regarded, national antitrust practitioner who represents businesses, pension funds, health funds, and consumers in complex antitrust class actions involving price-fixing, monopolization, pay-for-delay agreements, no-poach agreements, and other anticompetitive practices.

Named a “Titan of the Plaintiff’s Bar” by Law360, as well as a leading plaintiffs’ competition lawyer by Global Competition Review and Chambers & Partners USA, Greg is repeatedly recognized for his experience and involvement in high-profile cases.  Greg is regularly appointed by the courts to leadership positions in antitrust cases throughout the U.S., including in In re Generic Pharmaceuticals Pricing Antitrust Litigation,one of the largest antitrust cases on record alleging price-fixing of 150+ generic drugs against 30+ drug manufacturers.

Greg is an active member of the antitrust bar. He was recently appointed Vice-Chair of the ABA Antitrust Section’s Diversity.Advanced working group. He is an Executive Committee member of the New York State Bar Association’s Antitrust Section and serves as its Finance Officer. He is on the Advisory Board of the American Antitrust Institute and serves as Secretary and Membership Director of the Committee to Support the Antitrust Laws (“COSAL”). Greg also represents pro bono clients in matters involving the arts and asylum of LGBTQ+ individuals.
